鼓型齒式聯(lián)軸器是一種特別設(shè)計的先進齒式聯(lián)軸器，其外齒制成球面，球面的中心在齒輪的軸線上，齒側(cè)的間隙比一般產(chǎn)品稍大，鼓形齒聯(lián)軸器可以傳遞較大的扭矩和允許較大的角位移，性能優(yōu)異且壽命更加長久。

萬向聯(lián)軸器采用十字軸承聯(lián)接兩端聯(lián)接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯(lián)接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動效率優(yōu)異，在現(xiàn)代工業(yè)領(lǐng)域被廣泛采用。

SWP十字萬向聯(lián)軸器采用剖分式叉頭布局，與SWC十字萬向聯(lián)軸器使用的場合相近，主要運用在重載大型裝備領(lǐng)域，回轉(zhuǎn)直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯(lián)軸器采用整體式叉頭布局，主要用于軋鋼機械，起重運輸機械等其他重型裝備領(lǐng)域，回轉(zhuǎn)直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以上，是運用相當廣泛的萬向聯(lián)軸器。

萬向節(jié)聯(lián)軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯(lián)軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯(lián)軸器聯(lián)接的機泵在安裝過程中都不可避免地要進行同軸度的調(diào)整，使對輪既同心又平行，否則將影響機泵使用效率或造成設(shè)備運行事故。
