伺服電機聯(lián)軸器，因其使用場合的精密性，必須具備特殊的性能：零間隙：聯(lián)軸器整體在傳動過程中不允許有間隙，包括正向間隙以及回程間隙；高剛性：即不允許出現(xiàn)傳動的遲滯性，否則將嚴重影響伺服馬達傳動的精度；低慣量：在保證傳動強度的基礎之上，應盡可能降低伺服馬達聯(lián)軸器的重量；柔性：精密的伺服聯(lián)軸器，不僅要求剛性高，同時需要吸收安裝過程中產(chǎn)生的軸與軸之間的偏差；其他性能：耐熱性、動平衡性等。

風機聯(lián)軸器是電機與風機連接的聯(lián)軸器。它可以將不同機構中的主動軸和從動軸牢牢地緊密連接在一起，以此達到一同旋轉的目的，并傳遞運動機械零件，有時也用以聯(lián)接軸與其他零件。

風機聯(lián)軸器具有減速、增速、變向和換向等動作以及緩和沖擊、吸振的作用。聯(lián)軸器可分為剛性聯(lián)軸器和撓性聯(lián)軸器兩大類。前者不具有緩沖性和補償兩軸線相對位移的能力，但結構簡單，制造成本較低，裝拆、維護方便。

對輪聯(lián)軸器慣性主軸線與旋轉軸線之間重心位置偏心量的可能值是平方和方根值而決定的，主要由兩半聯(lián)軸器和聯(lián)接螺栓組成，對輪聯(lián)軸器軸套孔裝配前，鏜削切割和鍵槽的修整聯(lián)軸器端面和其它表面的加工等。半聯(lián)軸器的軸套孔有圓錐孔和圓柱孔兩種形式，圓錐孔比圓柱孔在工藝特性上有較多的特點，圓錐形軸套孔容易獲得相配合部件之間的同心。

對輪聯(lián)軸器在工作過程中，并且會帶來燃油消耗空氣污染等后果，由于承受咬入沖擊動載荷，使得聯(lián)軸器受到峰值轉矩，聯(lián)軸器承載能力下降，并在短時間內(nèi)失效，從而直接影響其正常工作，其中的較薄弱環(huán)節(jié)進行替換或維修是重要和實用的。聯(lián)軸器兩軸相對半徑變位要求較好，找耦合同心度為0.2~0.6mm，存在很大困難。如果在駕駛過程中螺栓松動，泵裝置的振動和噪音可能會變大。
